Oh, what a year! A look back at 2022

In the final days of 2022, we're reflecting on what a year it's been for us at Power to Live.

The charity has grown and changed in so many ways, whilst staying true to our core mission of delivering high-quality, low-cost behavioural therapy.

  • Our fantastic therapists delivered 1,084 treatment sessions

  • Our therapist team doubled in size as we took on our largest cohort of trainee therapists yet in September 2022

  • We established three partnerships with The Drive Forward Foundation, Reach and Connect, and the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs

  • To address the needs of our most complex clients, we created a team of Senior Therapists made up of experienced therapists who have completed their postgraduate training and have practiced with us for at least one year

  • We improved the charity's organisation, documentation and compliance by updating our IT systems

  • We increased our funding by +£5,000 and in addition have applied for other grants to help us to continue delivering low-cost therapy to more clients

  • Tien led the first Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) Level One training in our charity’s history, bringing FAP to 25+ clinicians from all over the world

We're so thankful for everyone who supports our charity, including our leadership team, therapists, clients, partners, trustees and donors - thank you for supporting us to deliver our life-changing service to more people than ever before.

2023 brings with it more exciting opportunities and challenges, so keep your eyes peeled to see what we achieve next!
