About the event

ACT in the Here and Now
ACT is a living, contextual approach. At its heart, it invites people into greater openness, awareness, and engaged action in the service of what matters. This introductory workshop brings ACT into the here and now of the therapeutic relationship, using functional analysis to help practitioners notice what is happening moment by moment, both within the client and between client and therapist.
Our unique focus is on helping therapists see ACT processes as live behaviour. Acceptance, defusion, values, present-moment awareness, self-as-context, and committed action are not only concepts to understand; they are patterns we can observe, evoke, and shape in session.
Together, we will slow the clinical moment down and ask:
✨ What is happening right now?
